Right in the middle of the pandemic, Bârlog, a newcomer in the Romanian craft beer market, launched its first products.
But how do you bring people together to try a new beer when all major events and festivals are closed?
Our challenge was to convince both Romanian craft beer connoisseurs and mainstream beer consumers to try Bârlog craft beer.
Context
We realized our audience has two things in common: beer and curiosity.
As each Bârlog beer is named after a Romanian famous ruler, we used that to arouse their curiosity and spark a conversation.
Idea
We created online video spots and social media ads for each new beer.
This was followed by the second phase of video spots in order to reinforce the products in the minds of potential consumers.
Everything was filmed in the brand’s specific style showcasing its locations (brewery & pub) and using unexpected visual twists.
