Meet the Team

  • Mirela Angelescu

    Mirela Angelescu

    MANAGING DIRECTOR & PARTNER

Whether you're a colleague, client, or you accidentally stumble into a meeting with Mirela, stay there and relax. You're in the right place. If we're going to throw some names and job descriptions into the mix, Mirela is a former strategy director at Saatchi & Saatchi, as well as Head of Communication for Coca-Cola Russia and Managing Director at DDB Bucharest. Working with her is nice and easy, especially since she usually does half your job. Whatever that work may be. However, if we're 100% honest, we have one regret about Mirela: we're sorry we can't clone her.

  • Alice Fischer

    Alice Fischer

    BUSINESS DIRECTOR & PARTNER

Even though we have been together for over 8 years, we still haven't been able to figure out how Alice manages to be a mother, wife, colleague, and new business director, all while smiling and energizing everyone around her. We don't know what she’s eating, but we do know that Alice is a vitamin complex that helps tech companies in the Valley, Europe & beyond. In addition, she knows how to explain complicated things simply and clearly, which makes it easier for everyone working with her on projects.

  • Andy Daniluc

    Andy Daniluc

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR & PARTNER

Andy is a computer science graduate, but he also played handball for 9 years. He earned some money doing web design, but in between websites he also performed stand-up comedy. Then he moved on to McCann, Publicis, BBDO, and Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai, companies where he won so many advertising awards that they no longer fit in his trophy cabinet and he uses them as door stoppers. But Andy felt he could do more than that, so lately he is in cahoots with tech startups, helping them take their first steps in the market or helping them polish their brand voice.

  • Elena Hurjui

    Elena Hurjui

    CO-FOUNDER & STRATEGY DIRECTOR

Elena always puts people and their families first, even if she has to work some extra hours on top of the usual extra hours. You probably don't know what gift to offer your partner or child, but Elena does. Because sometimes she cares too much. She's the one that keeps Heraldist alive and keeps us together. We don't know where she gets so much patience and energy from, but we're glad she invests it in us. Elena not only does this with humans, but she is also the Mother Teresa of all dogs. McCann's former head of communications for Coca-Cola, Elena, besides paying our bills, masters the art of building strategies that can change the way a company is managing its reputation & growth.

  • Adrian Docea

    Adrian Docea

    CO-FOUNDER & INNOVATION DIRECTOR

From co-founder to strategy director, designer, copywriter, entertainer, and janitor, Adi has played many roles in Heraldist. To elaborate on how many ideas Adi had and how many projects he was involved in, we would need to buy some more hosting space for the website. But if it's true that you are only as good as your last piece of work, we'll just say that Adi is the creator of the “Perception Engineering™” methodology, the one that helps tech companies in the Valley, Europe and beyond build amazing products. Sorry, this just became the second to last. The latest one is Nordensa. Google it and thank us later.

  • Claudia Szanto

    Claudia Szanto

    PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR

Have you heard of the 10000-Hour Rule? Claudia outgrew those a long time ago. And she's done it in management roles in PR agencies across several countries and continents. At Christmas parties, people from Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey, Y&R, and Ogilvy PR brag about working with Claudia and being part of her team when she’s won several international PR awards. Although Claudia's professional accomplishments would make her deserve a pedestal from which she could look down on us, she has an unparalleled modesty that manages to give you confidence and inspiration whenever you have the opportunity to chat with her.

  • Danny Serrano

    Danny Serrano

    INTERNATIONAL PR DIRECTOR

Dear reader, while some people go to his concerts to take his picture, it was enough for us to ask him for one and he barely found a picture without his autograph. Because Dany has not just managed PR projects for Universal, Disney, Warner, Activision, Mercedes, and a long list of tech companies and games studios after more than 10 years of experience within London-based PR consultancies. He is also a rock star. So if you want your company to rock, we know a guy, who knows.

  • Matei Plesa

    Matei Plesa

    PRODUCTION MANAGER & FILMMAKER

Matei speaks a little as if his words were money. If "a picture is worth a thousand words", how much is a video worth? We don't know yet. Although Matei does everything calmly like he has an eternity at his disposal, surprisingly, he has never missed a deadline. If you want us to namedrop some big brands from his client portfolio, it's enough to mention IKEA, Mercedes-Benz, Airbnb, UBER, SAB Miller, and Universal Music. But Matei hasn't just worked for big corporations, he's even had work published by National Geographic.

  • Alexa Florescu

    Alexa Florescu

    SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Alexa is our own encyclopedia. She has a PhD in Literary Theory and she can cure anyone’s curiosity. But since prevention is better than cure, she can also prevent people’s ignorance. She says she read the last book a few months ago. It was the last printed book. Since then she's been waiting for new books to come out because she has read all the books that already exist. Unfortunately, anything we will say from now on will be overshadowed by what we've already said, but Alexa is also modest and always ready to help in a way that puts others in the light. Did we mention she also has a cat?

  • Teodora Aldea-Turcu

    Teodora Aldea-Turcu

    SENIOR BRAND STRATEGIST

When you see Teo for the first time, you might say to yourself, “Look! Heraldist sent a junior to the meeting.” Isn't that cute? But it's wrong!" Because after you start talking to her, you realize that Teo juggles the 12 brand archetypes using one hand, while with the other she’s helping tech companies tailor the way other people perceive them. Teo has also reconciled curiosity and the cat, as she keeps one at home and trains the other to pay the bills. Relax, Cat Protection Services, it was a joke.

  • Valeria Valdés

    Valeria Valdés

    BRAND STRATEGIST

Our Valeria is an extremely curious person with a huge passion for the digital landscape. When you were little and played with toy cars or dolls, she played with data packages. When for your 5th birthday you got a silver baby chain, she got a blockchain. Valeria is also a brand alchemist who knows how to mix research, studies, articles, jokes, surveys, direct observation, and books in order to transform them into opportunities for our clients.

  • Cristian Bala

    Cristian Bala

    OFFICE MANAGER

Cristi studied economics and psychology at university, and privately: philosophy, art, literature, cinema, gastronomy, empathy and a myriad of other subjects. We don't want to boast that we have in our agency the "universal man", the ideal Renaissance man, but we do and it's not to our credit. Cristi loves all that is good and beautiful in life, but what we all appreciate in him is that he has the patience to discover the good and beautiful in any person or situation. He's the one looking after all of us here in the Heraldist house and we couldn't ask for a better person to do that.

  • Ainhoa Morales

    Ainhoa Morales

    SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

Ainhoa left her country in search of... only she knows what. Thank goodness she found us. Although her identity papers say she is a Spanish citizen, Ainhoa is from the Basque Country, living just a stone's throw from where several episodes of a famous series about games and thrones were filmed. Ainhoa draws with her stylus, her mouse, and her pencil, but mostly with her talent and imagination. Her illustrations are so elegant and delicate that you can't help but fall in love with the final files she uploads to your drive.

  • Stefan Pop

    Stefan Pop

    SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

The more you know about Ștefan, the less you realize you know. Today he tells you something about stars and wars and the movies about them, tomorrow he explains to you something complex related to cryptocurrencies, and after that he gives you a complex distinction of anime styles, and the week is still too short to listen to him talk about sports predictions, fantasy books, juicy details about directors who have forever left their mark on world cinema. Ștefan once wanted to be a pharmacist. If he hadn't wanted even more to become an art director today, you might read in a newspaper about the young man from Transylvania who discovered the elixir of life.

  • Zoran Zeerowski

    Zoran Zeerowski

    SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

If you've worked with Zoran in the same office for a few years and you feel like you know him and he can't surprise you with anything else, get ready. Zoran is an expert in branding having a complex understanding of shapes and colours. He is also in a special relationship with sounds, being passionate about music and, at the same time, a sound effects bank. Besides, all the dogs that come to the agency see him as their best friend. We don't know what advice Zoran gives them, but from the way they wag their tails, there are times when "living a dog's life" doesn't sound as bad as the dictionary tells us.

  • Marius Pop

    Marius Pop

    SENIOR COPYWRITER

The Agency's Wordsmith. The guy for coming up with catchy, funny lines, Marius is our very own natural storyteller, always there to boost the spirits or give the best simple and honest compliments.

    He’s also great with rhymes.

  • Adrian Ghite

    Adrian Ghite

    PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Adi G, because Adi was already taken by one of our co-founders, is the kind of guy you ask an inch from and he gives you a mile. It's because of him that we have the idiom “the extra mile”. Adi G has never lost a negotiation, neither on timing nor on budget, perhaps because he was also a debate national champion, debate trainer and director of a national debate competition. Do you know why Adi G is cool to work with? Because the projects you work on with him are the ones you know for sure will end up in your portfolio.

  • Linda Petrusca

    Linda Petrusca

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

In the morning, when she wakes up, Linda spreads some rock music on her bread, and then she rocks. She has more than a decade of experience as a legal adviser, so trust us, you wouldn't want her on the other team when the sparks start flying from contract clauses. Linda is in charge of operations for a variety of legal, accounting, and administrative projects. We don't know how such an effervescent person manages all these boring areas, but we're grateful to the universe that Linda is one of us.

  • Scarlett Hnin

    Scarlett Hnin

    JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Scarlett is a go-getter, the one out in the field uncovering business opportunities. Using her excellent communication skills she brings home new blood, in the form of fresh customers and leads because she’s incapable of taking NO for an answer. Scarlett is in a love triangle with technology and hard work. Don't be fooled by the fact she looks gentle. While Scarlett smiles at you, she's making plans on how to sell you another service package. She can handle a prospecting marathon, but also a selling sprint.

  • Duda

    Duda

    OFFICE CHEERLEADER

Duda is the cutest dog. We know everyone says that about their pet. But when we brought Duda into the agency, we thought we were bringing a guard dog. Instead, she befriends anyone who pets her. Luckily her puppy face is capable of changing the mind of any potential offender who comes into contact with her. Duda talks to us, cries, and argues, but mostly begs for affection. And treats.
